Lumen printing workshop

Illuminate your creativity with RAMP and photography students from Arts University Plymouth.

This workshop is designed for artists and creatives of all skill levels and it is a part of this year's Plymouth Urban Tree Festival - a nine day celebration of Plymouth's trees organised by local charity Plymouth Tree People.

This hands-on experience will ignite your imagination and unleash the potential of this captivating photographic process.

You will start with gathering materials for your lumen prints. From delicate leaves to intricate petals - you will learn how to transform the beauty of organic forms into exquisite works of art.

Then you will be introduced to the basics of this unique photographic technique. Harnessing the power of sunlight and organic materials, you'll learn how to create ethereal images without the need for a camera, unlocking a world of creative possibilities.

Lumen printing offers endless opportunities for artistic expression. From abstract compositions to detailed botanical studies, let your imagination run wild as you craft your own unique set of lumen prints.

• Duration: 10 am - 12 pm
• Cost: £9.95 (plus fees)
• Materials Needed: Organic materials (those would be gathered during the workshop, but feel free to bring anything you would like to use in your composition).
