Create while you wait! Fun things to do in the woods before or after your tree climbing workshop! Also open to those not signed up to climb

Free drop-in workshops in Marjons Woods during the tree climbing event!

Whether you are booked to tree climb or not, you are invited to join Plymouth Tree People Trustee Dave Curno to make kazoos and J Claxton to get involved in a nature art workshop - sketching and leaf rubbing! All materials supplied.

Just drop in and parking is free. This event will run between 10am and 4pm and is suitable for kids but they must be accompanied by an adult.

If you would like to book a place on the tree climbing, you can do so here.

Artist J Claxton (aka Ink Pareidolia) loves to draw trees and the faces she sees in them. She believes anyone can be creative and that trees are one of the best starting points to begin drawing nature. Join her in drawing in the Marjons Woods alongside the tree climbing and kazoo making workshops.

This event is open to all, confident drawer or complete beginner, all are welcome. Booking not essential but if you can it will give us an idea of numbers!

When you arrive, you can park in the large car park at the far end of the campus, near the Quad Theatre. The tree climbing is on the grassed area down the lane to the north east of the car park and the workshops are a little further down, under tree cover.
