A creative art and mindfulness nature workshop for Plymouth Urban Tree Festival 2025
A creative 2-hour art session set within the peaceful surroundings of the TBC
Suitable for all ages and abilities (under 14s free with a paying adult) this workshop incorporates connection with nature, to tune in to your creativity through with some movement, sound and mark making.
Sunday 11th & 18th May 2025, from 4-6pm
Devonport Park Activities Centre (Routeways), Fore Street, Devonport, Plymouth, PL1 4BU
Inspired by the natural beauty and community spirit of Devonport Park this venue offers a grounding and creative space to explore your imagination.
What to Expect:
- Gentle, invitational movement and walking meditations to arrive and connect with our creative minds
- Explorations of sound and stillness with in the natural environment
- Mark-making and creative writing as responses to the sensory experience
- Observational drawing and seeing exercises to deepen visual awareness
- Layering materials in colour, and personal expression developments and discoveries.
All art materials and paper are provided.
With break / refreshments available.
Cost £8 per person each session
Please bring if you wish, your own sketchbook, journal and favourite art materials as well as something waterproof or soft to sit on.
