Snapdragons, Plymouth

Join us at Snapdragons to celebrate people and trees with workshops, folk music, dance, drinks and food!

Join us to celebrate another fantastic Plymouth Urban Tree Festival on Saturday 18th May at Snapdragons off Victoria Park.

Trees and people come together with folk music and storytelling so we have the amazing Devon-based Wren Music who have since 1983 have used folk arts to empower people from all backgrounds to make music and feel part of the community.

There will be art printing by West Devon Art Workshops and forest school activities. We will also be joined by Art and Energy Collective who will have their fabulous mossy carpet!

We will have a BBQ so bring along whatever you would like to go on that. In order to properly celebrate trees we will also have cider and apple juice. You are also encouraged to bring your own drinks.

Sadly we are unable to welcome dogs to this event :(

This event will kick off about 2pm with music on all afternoon and evening. We aim to be finished by 10pm.

All welcome! Tell your friends!

Well organised and good website made it easy to know what was happening.

I liked the mix of being outdoors and indoors, learning lots of new skills and information about trees and natural science. I enjoyed contributing to the event, as volunteer and workshop facilitator. Meeting new people both locals and the artists ad campaigners from Stoke Newington, and reconnecting to people I got to know through STRAW was a highlight.
