Join us for our Tree Ring Printing Workshop, organised by RAMP @Ocean Studios in collaboration with PTP and Urban Tree Festival

RAMP @OceanStudios is helping Plymouth Tree People celebrate Plymouths Second Urban Tree Festival from 11 th - 19 th may 2024.

In this session you will have the opportunity to make relief prints from the cross sections of trees or tree rings, and discover their unique inner beauty.

The individual rings indicate a year in the tree's life and its amazing what you can learn from observing the patterns such as good growth years versus drought years.

Our Print technician will guide you through the process of creating stunning prints using the tree rings as the base.

You'll get to experience the different patterns and textures of each tree species, and learn about the vital role trees play in our ecosystem. We will also have members of Plymouth Tree People Organisation available to talk more about trees in our city and all the exciting activities that are happening around Plymouth Urban Tree Festival.

This workshop is perfect for all ages and skill levels, and no prior experience is necessary.

Come and join us to discover the beauty of trees and learn how humans can creatively connect with nature.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to be part of our 2nd Plymouth Urban Tree Festival.

Spaces are limited, so sign up now to secure your spot in our Tree Ring Printing Workshop.

There are two sessions of one hour long - the first starting at 10 am and the second starting at 11 am.
