To celebrate the Urban Tree Festival we have a workshop in making natural dyes and Medieval ink from foraged and found tree matter

Join Vicky Putler in The Plot for this 2 hour tree dye workshop. We will make natural tannin rich dyes from tree bark, leaves and other foraged matter. Learn how to make beautiful deep brown- black Medieval ink using oak galls. The workshop is part of the Urban Tree Festival, who have kindly subsidised some of the cost.

I particularly enjoyed the creativity of Plymouth people and using the natural dyes.
