Join Totally Emmeline as you learn how to turn a lump of clay into a pair of beautiful plates with the imprints of tree leaves on them
In this 3 hour workshop you will learn ceramic skills such as rolling, compressing, carving, texturing and colour application. You will be shown how to roll leaves or flowers into the clay to leave behind a forever print. These can then be brought to life with slips, glazes or left in their natural buff colour. Combining some or all of these skills you will leave having made 2 plates. These can be matching or unique to each other. Your plates will be lovingly fired to bring out the colours and then fired with a clear glaze to really highlight the textures and make the colours pop.
Once fired your plates can be collected after 2 weeks, from Totally Emmeline @ City Business Park.
This workshop is at City Business Park in Stoke, Plymouth, runs for 3 hours and costs £25 per person.
