Bat box making

Union Corner 14th May

Make a simple wooden bat box for hibernating or roosting bats.

We will use simple tools (including cordless drills and screwdrivers) to put together a bat box. All the wood sections will be pre-cut so this is an assembly-only event.

You will be able to take home your very own bat box.

We will be running this event at 17:45, 18:15, 18:45 and 19:15 with each session lasting half an hour. Please choose which time you would like to attend from the ticket page.

This activity is suitable for children ages 7+. All materials are provided and full instruction and safety guidance will be given. Children with long hair should bring a hair band or some means of keeping their hair back.

Please only book if you intend to attend and if you book and can no longer make the event, please let us know. This event has limited spaces and no shows will mean people miss out!

Attendee from last year:

"The kids absolutely loved it! We'll be back next year for more bat boxing"
